We had a negative experience with this company., and unfortunately, I believe it is mainly due to how the owner runs his business here. BTs will cancel at the last minute all the time (which is fine and understandable), but if you were to make a small schedule change request, you will receive a very unkind email. Communicating with the "admin team" (most likely the owner) felt like living in a totalitarian state. Once our BT left the company, we were left without any services while they were still taking on new clients.

1. "The families (customers) cannot request to change the therapiest. Even if therapist has no idea what to do.
2. If the kid is not able to do "lifestyle adjustments" since day one - BT doesnt know how to work with such kids.
3. If the kid can't take 20 hours- 30 hours per week, BT consider this as "BT will sell less hours that they want to sell". BT doesn't care if 30 hours are beneficial for kid or not. Just money is the interest.
4.If the family wants just ABA and doesn't want to buy any extra products like Parent Traning - "BT will earn less money. Not going to work with such family".
Don't waste your kids time, trying to work with BT.

There are so many ABA service providers out there and if you as a client want to see results and have your children go through proper ABA therapy with RBTs that are properly trained and can provide services based on your kids' needs, you're better off going somewhere else. All of their BCBAs are remote so they will never have in person time with your family to effectively assess specific needs and create personalize goals.
As a RBT working for them, you NEED to read the contracts they send you to sign. They will withhold their promises to you and add conditions to fulfilling those promises by slipping in unethical clauses for their own people to sign and mention nothing. They will also underdeliver on the hours and quality supervision promised because they simply do not have the resources. You will accidently sign your life away with legal bindings that will put you in a bad place.
Be very careful with these people.

This is our experience with Behavior Nation. Their whole Behavior Nation motto is " collections". They charge high prices and if you take time to pay they threaten you with collections.
They gave only service for 40 days and we paid $ 18,000 out of pocket. Insurance refused to pay, insurance agreed to pay in the beginning and they backed out seeing high prices from this provider and asked for additional testing.
Before you consider Behavior Nation as your kids therapy ask them the essential question which I didn't and paid a price.
1) ask them did they get the approval from the insurance to give certain hours. Their BCBA, Ms. Ahliya Lahanpal advice 5 hours to every kid but they don't get approval from the insurance. My insurance rejected her evaluation and still this company praised their BCBA and didn't deal with insurance to pay.
2) They are not customer friendly, they never call. Their BCBA never available. They don't give any details about if your insurance paying for the service or how your kid progressing.
3) no online portal to see your kids progress, no feed back from BCBA or therapist. They don't give information about what program they are running what behaviors your kid has and how to proceed.
ABA service is money making machine to most of the providers in this East Bay area, Please do research and put your kid in best possible therapy since autistic kids need therapy for life.
This provider is not in my list and these people chased me and as a desparate mom I fell for this predator made myself victim. If I had the resource ,strength and support I would have taken them to court to pay for all this turmoil. Be aware of them and stay away from them.Hope someone finds this helpful.

Predatory and not forthcoming about cost. You will be pressured into having an assessment asap so that the can start billing you. The "assessment" consisted of one person filling out paperwork at my kitchen table that I had already completed and turned in, while at intern "interviewed" my daughter. In addition to being on the spectrum, my daughter has ADHD and slow processing. Actually overheard the intern start to get snippy with my daughter when my daughter asked her the same question twice while making small talk. That is when the assessment ended. A few weeks later I received a bill for over $870 for the approximately two hours the two representatives stayed at my house filling out paperwork I had already completed and chit-chatting with my daughter. They are threatening legal action against me if I don't pay the $870 in the next 30 days. This is after I told them I would be pursuing other services and not theirs, several weeks ago. So glad I went with my gut on this one.

I tell you my experience with this company, everything was going well but after a while I decided to cancel the therapies, I sent an email to the 2 supervisors in charge of the case, they never answered, however the therapist did not show up anymore so it was obvious that they received My email, my problem was that despite sending emails and text messages making it clear that I did not want to continue with the therapies, they continue to this day sending text messages and emails, some asking when they can schedule the sessions and others simply informing what day we have appointments, I got tired of sending emails and text messages reminding them that I canceled the therapies a long time ago that they stop sending me all that messaging because I am not interested, since this did not stop my last option was to block them from everything where they could continue contacting me, in truth they reach the point where they make you feel harassed, they do not care that you ask them to stop bothering you that you are not interested in their services, also one of the r The reasons why I canceled the sessions was because they didn't even bother to let them know that the therapist couldn't come, you know because she doesn't show up for the appointment and that's it, you try to contact them and there is no response, not even from the supervisors of the case, Zero professionals, do not waste your time with them.
