Alto Pharmacy offers excellent communication and service. The moment an MD prescribes a medication, there is a text from Alto letting you know when it will be delivered. And if you need it sooner - as I did this week - they got the meds to me within hours (extra fee for courier, but worth it). They keep you notified of refill requests, delivery times in a very timely fashion. I recommend them highly.

Run away from this pharmacy as soon as you can. Their customer service is horrible - you'll be on hold for 30 minutes (and your doctor won't want to call them) any time you call. I also found out I was being overcharged by HUNDREDS of dollars per month through Alto. I was paying out of pocket and my medicine came out to nearly $600 each month. I'm now with Costco, and my medicine is less than $80 for all of them. HUGE difference in customer service, price, value, and ease of access. Plus, you do not have to be a Costco member to access the Pharmacy! But, if you are a member, they automatically add the Costco Insurance plan to your account, saving you even more money.

Run away from Alto, or don't start if you're thinking of switching. You'll be so frustrated. Plus, their delivery system is sketchy as can be. They use Uber Eats drivers to deliver your meds. Imagine having your diabetes meds, or your controlled substances, in the hands of some unknown Uber driver.... horrifying thought.

Can't find the delivery again. The instructions are to deliver to front door. Last delivery was hidden at a gate to garage. This time I can't find it anywhere. The delivery photo is a black screen. Alto is overly complicated to deal with and Imposible to get a live person on the phone to address issues or questions. A real pain to deal with Alto

I have struggled with these guys ever since they absorbed NowRX. They are tied to their algorithm and have no sense of patient care. In the latest, and frankly final straw, they canceled my prescription because they don't stock the medication. No note to say, "Hey, we don't stock that." just a "prescribed on Sept 4th. Canceled on Sept 4th". After several back-and-forths with my PCP, it was clear Alto was at fault. After more back-and-forths with Alto, they finally understood the question and said they don't stock the med. Oh and, as a diabetic, pitching me on caramel candy every time I go to the website seems a little unwise.
