This pharmacy has always been super efficient and professional. I never have to wait, the staff know the answers to my questions. And when they didn't have any info when I had a question, they didn't bullsh*t me and guess. I was told "I'm not sure, let me find that info for you right now." You don't have to be an AHF client to utilize the AHF Pharmacy either. Highly recommend this flagship location! 5 out of 5 stars.

Dr. Yossefy, AHF Wellness Center on Grand, Downtown.
Is a pathetic man and an even worse Dr. I had a bad bacterial infection on both my feet and legs below the knee. I was so sick. He did nothing. They asked me to leave. They didnt give me a prescription for antibiotics.
I have never been treated with such disrespect and unprofessional behavior.
Mr. Yossefy should not be a Dr.
The next day I had to call 911 to take me to the emergency room. I was in so much pain.
I was in the hospital for 9 days.
Dr. Yossefy is a small pimple of a man and not qualified to be a infectious disease Doctor.
I was so traumatized by my last visit with Dr. Yossefy.
I am getting my HIV health care from a more qualified and definitely more professional Doctor.
I will never step foot in his office ever again.

The AHF pharmacy recently moved from their Sunset Blvd location too this new Hollywood Blvd location. Their "Out of the closet" sister store also moved with them and the pharmacy no longer has its own entrance. You enter through "Out of the closets" main entrance and the pharmacy is located within it's own space on the right hand side of the large new space. Both the pharmacy and the thrift store are in larger spaces now but the pharmacy is no longer selling small items like bandages. They have a much larger waiting area though and the employee's have a lot more room to spread out and work. That is what has changed with the move and the following is from my original review and has not changed. [original review] This is not a pharmacy that is surrounded by a large chain drug store like Rite Aid or Walgreens. The actual pharmacy is probably very similar between this location and the large chain drug stores, you just don't have all the other stuff. What does that mean? There is not aisle after aisle of shampoos, soaps, makeup and whatever else you can find in a large drug store. There really isn't even aisles at this location. This pharmacy is all about filling your medical prescriptions. So why have them filled here instead of one of the large drug store chains? Because the level of service here is much more personal and thorough than the pharmacies located within the large chain drug stores. The pharmacist (the actual pharmacist and not an assistant) is right there behind the counter and is readily available to take the time and answer your questions or explain any concerns you may have about a new prescription or drug interaction. They don't just hurriedly rush through their explanation or answer to your question here. The pharmacist will take however long you need to ensure you understand what they are telling you. Think back to old movies with the very helpful pharmacist at a neighborhood pharmacy. In those old movies the pharmacist is always providing a level of service that no longer exists in a rushed modern society. Yet that is the level of service you get at AHF Pharmacies.
