A Thousand Leaves is incredible. The shop is easy to access, small and tidy while not crammed, and has a huge variety, and selection, of teas, herbs, spices, tinctures, soaps, customs blends, etc. All of their herbs are organically farmed or ethically wild harvested.
I've been drinking their tea for a few years and it always tastes extremely fresh and flavorful. To my knowledge, this is the best herb shop Gainesville has to offer would 10/10 recommend.

I don't know much about herbs, but still love this place and always feel welcome. The in-house herbalists are kind and patient, and always help me figure out what I need. Whether it's dried herbs, tea blends, or custom tincture formulas, they'll help you get what you need and within whatever budget you have. You can spend $5 or $500 here and always walk away with something that will make your life better. It's a cozy little oasis, with a beautiful sign, a welcoming courtyard, and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I also highly recommend going here to get gifts for loved ones! Such a well-curated selection of items, from soaps and chocolates, to reference materials and bulk medicinal and culinary herbs. A Thousand Leaves makes Gainesville a better place!

Tucked away without a flashy storefront this gem of a tea place offers excellent selection, great customer service and various great educational courses. I love shopping here, learning about botanicals and have tried to make various kinds of herbal concoctions. Highly recommend!

Lovely place with great variety/selection. I got pu'erh tea and it proved itself to my tea snob standards.
If they have it I highly recommend the mugwort/peppermint/etc herbal prerolls! They taste amazing and it's such a happy mugwort blend.
Also, they package everything up in these cute little sealed bags. 10/10

Went here for the first time today. I LOVE this place! The owner Is very knowledgable, and helpful. I purchased a tincture to help me sleep. She has a great variety of loose herbs. Will be going back for sure!
