This place is an absolute oasis, and I have so much respect and admiration for the team that designed and created it. Absolutely worth it to have a nourishing and health oriented space to drop into for work or relaxation. They even have a podcast station alongside all of the biohacking rooms and sauna and cold plunge. Everything has been crafted so meticulously and so much care and artistic passion. Will be back as often as I can 🙂

So happy this sanctuary came to our community. It's a beautiful and supportive space. The best yoga instructors. Fantastic to have a cold plunge in Marin. The people and events are amazing. The best money I've spent all year.

Beautiful new community and yoga space in Marin.

Fantastic yoga classes (Peter Walters is teaching here three times per week)! Wellness treatments (sauna, cold plunge, hyperbaric oxygen chamber)! Events (talks, sound healing, film screenings)! And really incredible interior design with meticulous attention to detail.

Boutique, magical space with everything you need.

Incredible interiors with high ceilings and lots of light. Plenty of cozy seating areas. A podcast studio for members. Every detail has been thought through.

The main level has an assortment of wellness options that are hard to find + a private sauna / cold plunge setup that is as high quality as any place I’ve seen.

Today was my first time visiting and it was outstanding. Wow.

The Portal in Marin is an interesting eclectic community of people run by 3 founders who have done this before at the Center in San Francisco, and who are successful in their own right, as Founders and Investor Fund managers. The place has stunning Asian decor which pulls you in, yoga is spiritual, so don’t except a sweat, or workout, and it has a co-working space and Biohacking Spa plus Communal Sauna which are state of the artThe founder's, staff and community who belong to the Portal all seem lovely but they project their values and beliefs onto others and if you don’t fit their mould or stereotype they are not inclusive in spirit and even whilst paying for events at the Portal or signing up for basic memberships like yoga. There is a huge element of exclusivity and they are not very inclusive to foreigners or anyone who doesn’t fit into their projected mould or culture. There is very little diversity. Everyone looks the same and sounds the same and most of the people that go there are from Mill Valley, Tiburon and other exclusive wealthy areas in Southern Marin. So it feels like a very exclusive SoHo Lounge or Battery in someways but with a very gentrified and judgement approach to anyone who does not fit into their mould of being Wealthy connected,, successful or Spiritual. Most of the people that go people there are burners.and some even describe it as a swingers club. So be aware that before you sign up that there are a lot of things the staff and founders don’t disclose as per the above and it is extremely expensive for what you end up getting as you still have to pay for some events and biohacking treatments on the $350 per month membership. There is an interview and vetting process to become a member and they will vet you according to their beliefs and values and from references and what other people think or you, and they have turned a lot of people away who applied for memberships who don’t fit their stereotype and mould described above. Some of their values also seem incongruent to the way they treat their staff and some members.

I have attended a few of their events that they’ve put on and I’m blown away at the quality of humans they’ve curated in a community here together.

The Soul Salon concert with Jess Magic, Larisa Gosla & Tim Chang was particularly a very special night to remember.

The space is immaculate, and the community is filled with interesting & heart-centered people doing meaningful work in the world.

The yoga studio is gorgeous, my first class with Brandi was fantastic, and I look forward to experiencing more of their offerings here.

The Portal is just that — a true doorway into another magical realm of healing, connection and community.

From epic yoga teachers, fantastic and unique events, cold plunges, saunas, all sorts of state of the art bio hacking tools, it is truly a place you will want to return to again and again.

I feel super grateful to be part of this magical space and community.
