Delicious pastries and sandwiches. They have an assortment of other baked goods too. From cakes to donuts and whatever you might fancy.

They make your sandwiches fresh for you. Or, if you're in a hurry, they have to go boxes of sandwiches near the front entrance. I highly recommend the tuna salad sandwich. It was heavenly!

There's plenty of parking on both sides of the building and back.

It's definitely worth a visit for breakfast or lunch when you're in Bishop.

An amazing place for any kind of bread. We visited this bakery from NV on a recommendation and trust me I loved it. We tried multiple breads, all were delicious and totally different from the other in taste. The best thing I found there was the tasters of almost every single bread they were having in stock to taste on the spot before buying them.

The atmosphere and place is nice. Good vibes overall and appreciated it. Food and bread is over hyped.

Food is okay. I got an egg salad sandwich, one of the vegetarian options. 3/5 rating. I've made and had better.

Friends also bought the sourdough bread and it didn't have the sour taste that sourdough usually has. Just tasted like plain white bread . . .

Erick Schat’s bakery is a must stop place if you are in the Bishop area. They have a wide assortment of baked goods, especially known for their pullaway bread. I have yet to have an item I didn’t enjoy! Everything is savory and tasty. The bakery has two sides, on the right side is pastries and baked goods. On the left side is fresh breads and sandwiches. They have outdoor seating and a separate building for indoor sitting. Definitely give this place a try, you will be licking your fingers because it is so delicious.

Cute bakery located in the town. You simply can't miss it as it is crowded with people and you can see that most people come out with large paper bags of stuff.

Got some cakes + cookies + bread.
Love each of them as they taste very rich. Shop offers some tasting plates for people to try out the bread.

If you do not know what to get, strongly suggest you to get the Bacon Chili Cheese bread!

Bustling bakery with seemingly any delicacy you can think of being sold for a really fair price! They have an open refrigerator with freshly made sandwiches with differing types of bread (croissant, sourdough, etc), meat (Turkey and Ham), and even vegetarian options. There’s also a section for hot sandwiches but the line is usually pretty long.

The bakery is kinda broken up into two areas, the left side (relative to entering the main entrance) has all things bread—bread loaded with cheese and garlic, bread filled with chili, any type of jam. The right side has the danishes, donuts, candy, caramel apples, fruits covered in chocolate.

Whatever pastry or delicacy you’re looking for, Schat’s has it. You won’t be breaking the bank either!

Service is 4 stars because I asked the guy behind the counter if they had cheese danishes, and he slowly walked to the tray while holding eye contact and moved the tray back and forth, basically saying “don’t you see them here? ?” But there are soooo many people covering signs and there are tons of options as it is, so it’s easy to miss something that’s obvious to them…
Atmosphere 4 stars since it’s really tightly packed inside. Outdoor seating is plentiful, parking is plentiful, restrooms are available. Cool spot you would likely check out anyways if you were to simply walk by it since it’s always popping

A must stop if you're in the Bishop area. There are so many varieties of bread, pastries,cookies, and candies. Purchased two different types of their pesto dips, and they did not disappoint! The butter brickle cookies and mini kiss pecan cookies are so delicious! Wish I purchased more of them, but i will have to order online. They also offer fresh made sandwiches and gelato as well.

The food is absolutely phenomenal. I almost didn't want to leave. It is a bit on the crowded side but if you can see past that, I would definitely recommend it. This is some of the best bread I have ever eaten in my life
