Best value for loose leaf tea! You can get 1 lb of quality tea leaves for the same price as a box of teabags filled with dusty scraps from the supermarket. I can actually taste the difference in the black and green teas I’ve gotten here vs boxed tea which usually just tastes bitter to me. Plus, buying in bulk is better for the environment. ? They also have a table with bags of <1 lb herbs at a discount, I got 6 oz of sencha for $5. Thank you for making my kombucha brewing more economical

If you drink lots of loose leaf tea, like me, this is a great place. I love to go in and get a pound of my favorite tea and sometimes spices. It's unassuming but well stocked. You could walk right by it without realizing.

Great prices. Even post pandemic its still affordable and I can stock all the herbs I use for cooking, potpourri, hair care, etc. You will not find better prices or value anywhere else on herbs.

I absolutely LOVE the products from San Francisco Herb Co. The shipping, however, is just too much for me to order from them anymore. The shipping costs me almost as much as the products themselves. I run a business as well and look for alternate ways of sending products across the U.S. I am saddened that I cannot purchase what I would like to have from SFHerb because of the high shipping costs.

I like their tea. Compared to just regular tea bags, it's just cheaper to buy loose-leaf if you drink tea regularly. The ambiance of the store is also nice. There's a lot of hustle and bustle outside but walking inside is quiet and peaceful which is nice
