I was in need of a manual lymphatic drainage therapist, and was having some health issues when a friend suggested Awakenings. My first appointment with Bridget and Camelia was so enlightening. Prior to going to Awakenings, I was getting regular MLD therapy by 2 different therapists and was so surprised by how amazing I felt after a MLD session with Camelia. Bridget and Camelia are the epitome of knowledgeable, caring, honest, and compassionate practitioners who go above and beyond for their clients. They really listen to your health concerns in order to make sure that they are able to take care of your body’s specific needs. I have been a loyal client for several years and have benefited greatly from the variety of services they offer. Recently, I decided to try a MLD massage (manual lymphatic drainage). Camelia’s technique is amazing and I highly recommend that everyone experience the healing and detoxing benefits that this type of massage offers. Currently, my husband and I are seeing them on a weekly basis and are experiencing tremendous improvements from the HI-EMT machine, the Biomat, and the ozone therapy bag. I am the type of person who does extensive research and, therefore, asks lots of questions. During our appointments, they are always more than happy to answer my myriad of questions, offer insightful suggestions, and share any tips/tricks that may be beneficial for my healing process. After experiencing a serious flare up from an autoimmune condition, they were very eager to help me regain my strength and well-being. Their knowledge of how to handle difficult situations like this, combined with their genuine compassion, greatly helped my road to recovery occur much more quickly than anyone anticipated. I am truly grateful to have discovered Awakenings Wellness Center and these two amazing women who have greatly assisted both of us on our exciting journey of health and wellness.
