The health system is great. Billing department is severely crap. Call in the morning like everyone else. I was woke up 2hrs early for my nightshift job because I was contacted at 7 pm to let me know I owe money. Would gladly give 0 stars but that option isn't available yet. Fix your system!!!!

I had to make an emergency stop here while on vacation . The craziest thing happened a bug flew in my ear while riding the trails . It was the most terrifying time of my life .
The Drs and staff were nothing but amazing!! They took me back immediately and took the time to calm me down and get it out. They assured me that everything was gonna be ok

.
I give them 5 stars and 10 if it were available .
Beyond impressed !!

I’m giving two stars on the Medical Records Department. I’ve been helping an older couple who are both hurt and unable to leave their home. They needed records from an ER visit to take to a doctor appointment and were unable to physically come to the hospital to request the records. I volunteered to pick up the records for them. They called the record department and found out they had to fill out a form and provide a signature and a drivers license. There was no option to fill out the form electronically. I took off work twice to make trips back and forth between the hospital and their home (in total it will be about 80 miles and six hours). When I returned the signed paperwork and copy of the drivers license to the records department, the woman in the office proceeded to argue with me about the signature not matching the drivers license (the patient can barley move his arm right now so his signature looked different). Then she went on about the boxes that were checked- the couple talked to the office while filling out the paperwork to make sure they were checking the right boxes- to take such an argumentative stance when there had been multiple touch points requesting the information and going out of the way on the part of the patient to get their records was beyond frustrating. Being lectured about HIPPA (we all know what HIPPA is) while trying to accomplish a task quickly so I could return to work was beyond maddening. Provide a portal, a docusign option, and don’t give lectures about HIPPA and why your job is so freaking difficult while the people you serve are taking off work and turning cart wheels to follow your process.

This place is by far the worst ER I’ve ever had to experience.. my husband slipped 2 disks. The doctor would not help him and actually made him worse when she started pressing on his spine. This was after I showed her where he hurt because it’s clear as day with the swelling and bruising on his lower back. She refused to listen to him or me and tried to set him up. When I told him he couldn’t due to immense amount of pain, she walked out refusing to help him. It was after I begged and pleaded with the nurses that some pain meds were distributed to help ease the pain some but what she gave him was still not enough. She then tried to discharge us even though my husband wasn’t fit to even ride in a wheelchair. I told her we were not moving until my husband got appropriate amount of pain meds. After 4 hours of begging, she finally helped him but barely.
I am disgusted. I do not recommend anyone come here. This needs new management and new doctors asap! The nurses are amazing though. That star belongs to them bc they are the heroes! That doctor needs to be fired and whoever is over them, needs to have a serious meeting on the immense amount of complaints this hospital is getting.

I cannot even describe how unhappy I am with this establishment. I brought my boyfriend to the ER because he was vomiting and his heart rate was extremely abnormal, causing breathing issues. For context, he is a Type 1 Diabetic. When we got there, the receptionist was luckily very nice and efficient at getting him help as quick as possible. Basically the only person that was kind. He was brought back by the nurse who was an older woman. She was unbelievably rude to my boyfriend and I. She was accused him of not taking care of himself and neglecting to be compliant with his daily diabetes care routine, which is untrue. We found out he had diabetic ketoacidosis, which can be fatal. He was completely dehydrated and kept begging for water to swish since you cannot have any food or drink until your blood sugar is fixed. The nurse and doctor, who did not identify herself and was sarcastic herself, kept telling him that they would bring water to him and never did. Another thing that bothered me was the inappropriate whispering in the hallway RIGHT OUTSIDE of the room. My boyfriend had told the nurse he took his insulin pump off before coming, but she said that he told him he still had it on. I was there, and he never said that. Regardless, she goes and starts whispering about how he “literally said he still had it on”, where both of us could hear. It was extremely frustrating and upset him while he was already in a bad condition. It was a terrible experience, and I feel as if the staff he interacted with are unprofessional and need to be more kind and respectful to their patients. Will never bring anyone here if I don’t have to.

My birthing experience was terrible, i don’t know about other parts of the hospital but the women’s health and the receptionist up front where incredibly rude. I arrived at the hospital dilated to about a 6 the receptionist immediately started asking us to put on masks (although the only other people in waiting room didn’t have masks on) my husband tells her my contractions are 5 minutes apart and have been that way for over an hour and I’m in a lot of pain can we please see a nurse. She says no that I have to fill out a couple of things first and put on a mask. So we sit up front for at least 15 minutes giving the receptionist information that she already has.
The nurses where rough and I felt rushed through the whole process. My doctor I chose to deliver my baby was out of town and the new doctor didn’t even come in the room until last second. I was not fully informed about the pain medication administered. I wish that I wouldn’t have taken it in the first place, after they gave it to me they also said that it would only last for about 20 minutes. The nurse made me lie on my back and hold my breath to push I tried to tell her I want in a different position and I don’t want to hold my breath but that is a little hard to do when your in that much pain and she keeps telling me “ it’s not going to work if you don’t hold your breath, when you feel a contraction hold your breath for 10 sec and push” I just decided to go with it because I wanted my baby delivered safely and I didn’t want to argue and make the nurse more frustrated with me. Afterwards i tried to shower their wasn’t hot water so I tried to wash off in cold water to at least get a little clean (the hot water never got fixed while I was there). We were moved to a room right beside the exit which was loud, the bathroom had a tile missing so you could see the air conditioning system and every time I flushed the toilet there was a really bang which woke my baby every time. I only got maybe 4 hours of sleep while I was there. Women should be comfortable and well taken care of during labor and postpartum at that hospital to me they don’t care.
I’m giving this review in hopes that my experience doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I was hospitalized for 3 days here for pneumonia & other complications. I was so impressed by how friendly & knowledgeable every Dr & Nurse & even cleaning people were here. Extremely thorough with everything from imaging to blood work. I've never been treated better in any hospital I've ever been to & I just want the staff there to know they made all the difference of having to be hospitalized from a scary situation, into a comforting experience. Thank you for the awesome care you gave me!!❤❤❤
