Apria is a vast improvement on where I received my respiratory supplies from before.I will definitely continue to use them as my supplier.

I, unfortunately, have been saddled with this company for four years now. Got a replacement CPAP machine from them about 4 years ago. They demanded a credit card number to be on file before anything and then proceeded to charge my credit card every month for a year, with different amounts every month. I finally told them that if they ever charged that card again without my explicit permission I would turn them into law enforcement. Of course I had paid the year that was required by insurance by then.

In December 2021 I ordered supplies from Apria. I gave them permission to charge the CC again which they did. I received my EOB from insurance and between what they charged my CC and what insurance paid everything was taken care of.

At the end of April 2022 I received a check in the mail from April for approx. $55 with the explanation that they have overcharged me. On May 23 2022 I received an invoice in the mail saying that I owed them approx. $55. When I called them they kept saying that my insurance had not paid them the full amount. When questioned about why I received the check I was given the excuse that they issued that check expecting insurance to pay them the $55.

I've spent the better part of an hour on the phone with difference people in the billing dept. at Apria (all hard to understand because of their accent) and basically told them if they want to wait 6 months to bill me for something that was paid for in full back in December, they can't wait 6 months, possibly longer for me to pay them.

This company is absolutely terrible. Do not use them for any reason.

They billed my insurance $3000.00 over what a bipap machine usually sells for and told me it was totally covered by my insurance company. I found out that Bipap machines are on their website for $1,700.00. I ended paying $1900.00 of what my insurance would not cover. I definitely would not recommend this company.

My explanation of benefits from the insurance company said I’d still owe Apria $26. Their bill was for $47 or $48. I was confused and called. They said I owed $36 and some change. So all in all my explanation of benefits, billing statement, and what I actually had to pay were all three different. This isn’t the first billing issue I’ve had with them. They have the absolute worst billing department I’ve dealt with and I wish there was a way to have them audited. It seems like it’s a common issue based on the other google reviews.

UPDATE: I sent them an email like they requested explaining my issues. I labeled everything just like they asked, politely worded my issues, and added photos of my paperwork to help them understand what I was talking about. It’s been 3 business days and I haven’t received a call or reply. I thought it was just their billing department that was incompetent but I see now that it’s the entire company.

I have met my out of pocket for the year, yet they continue to charge my debit card for supplies, which means that the insurance company is paying them and so am I. They are getting double payments. When I called to talk to someone there they told me to have my insurance company contact them to get it settled. I have canceled the supplies since I refuse to pay for them since my out of pocket is met. I am looking to find a more reliable company. I am not happy.

I TOTALLY agree with the other posts I continue reading about Apria Healthcare in Lowell, Arkansas! I've had REAL issues for 4+ months and now I've had to file several legal reports with the Federal Medicare people because this 'business' has violated 6 Federal Medicare laws in my particular case. As of today, I am OUT of necessary oxygen supplies to continue through Jan. 2023. The manager in Lowell Arkansas told me he was going to " call my doctor and my insurance and tell them they have 2 weeks to find me another DME Provider. That was about 9 days ago, and today, I haven't received a Jan. supply shipment so, 'WHERE am I supposed to get needed parts; tubing, cannulas, and nebulizer equipment to continue using my oxygen equipment UNTIL I have another DME Provider? This store is so operating out of Federal LEGAL boundries! My life & health is SEVERELY at stake! I, ALSO sent a registered letter w/a tracking #, and it was not delivered to the store manager as addressed. It is recorded 'the manager was not available to receive my 'order for oxygen parts letter'. I join these other complaining parties in suggesting no one use this DME Provider. His words to me on the phone were, quote, "It's people like you {Meaning me} who give our company a bad reputation"! I say, "It's managers and staff like this store's representatives that 'make disabled, nice people' like myself {and these others here in this comment feed) HAVE TO post negative comments". My query: How can ALL these comments/people have the SAME type posts IF there were no credibility to their ,complaints". In conclusion: IF I run out of the necessary equipment to sustain my life because Apria Healthcare LLC, Lowell, Arkansas fails to ship my order I mailed VIA registered mail, am I supposed to just "DIE" without doing something about what they're doing to me, placing my life & oxygen needs IN JEOPARDY? I think not! And I HAVE already researched Federal Medicare Laws. They have, in fact violated Federal laws. The manager is DENYING my allegations! I received a letter yesterday from Medicare saying my case is under investigation, and that's wonderful; however, my oxygen needs are NOW, not 'in 30 calendar days', when they will be contacting me regarding my reports! I hope the DME Provider in Lowell, Ar. provides my necessary equipment soon, because if they fail , they will again be in violation of Federal Medicare laws, and then what might ensue? The law, I think, will step in.

If you really NEED oxygen, go elsewhere. It amazes me that this place is in business, in general, but I am astonished that they supposedly provide healthcare. I haven't had an operable oxygen concentrator for most of the last three weeks. They are aware of this, but are doing NOTHING. They seem to be blaming me for the fact that they have sent me 3 machines, out of 4, that work for a short time before they either stop running, won't start, or the alarm goes off. I have been nothing but professional with them. Too bad they can't say the same. I would not let anyone I care about use this business.

This company constantly billed my parents for money they did not owe AND money that was already paid to them by insurance, SO they were being double paid. Some of it was as little as $2. My parents were so tired of fighting they just wanted to pay. I feel they pray on the elderly to SCAM them out of what little money they have. 8 months later we are still fighting over a bill from December that was paid to Apria by insurance. They owe us money
